Filming Summary

The Filming has finished. All in all the total amount of footage that was filmed amounted to around 20 minutes. This will now be captured onto my editing PC through a DV cable. I will go through this process in more detail.

We are happy with the footage we have captured. Looking back at some of the shots, it is already clear that the lighting in some shots isn’t right. This can be rectified when I come to edit.

We varied the shots we used. Some of the shots we used include:

·     Long shots

·      Close ups

·      Extreme close ups

·      POV (point of view shots)

·      Panned shots

·      Zooming shots

We ensured that the mis-en-scene showed continuity, it is clear that it is set in one place. I filmed all footage on the day apart from 2 shots. George ran down a slope with the smaller camera for a POV shot and Joe climbed a turret to gain a high angle on one shot.

We enjoyed the filming and have already learnt a lot from what we did.
